Up to 10 days: Breastfed babies can sometimes go longer without stooling. While exclusively breastfeeding, it can be normal for a baby to go up to 10 days without having a bowel movement, so long as their bowel movements remain soft and without blood or mucous. If he seems to struggle, try giving 4oz of prune, pear, or apple juice to encourage a bowel movement.
