Deficient for sure!: Beast milk is the ideal food for infants but this time of year I can guarantee your son is deficient in Vit. D. Everyone in most of the US becomes deficient in D in fall and winter unless they supplement; in spring and summer we can make it from sun. Official recommendations for infants are 400 iu/say; breast milk has 25 iu per liter. I advise 1000 iu/day as liquid drops. See comment for more:
