Yes: If your Doctor is switching meds there is a reason. Klonopin is long-acting 10-12 hours. Diazepam last 4-6 hours. Perhaps you don't need the long-acting one, or maybe you will be using the diazepam more frequently. I believe your specialist is doing the best for you.
