Iron supplement: If you have Iron deficiency anemia then your doctor can give you an Iron supplement to prevent a worsening of the anemia. Anemia is not specifically linked to preterm labor. We can not predict how much worse anemia would be come worse in an individual untreated person. We would recommend treatment instead.
