Dr. does 2-wk check: At the 2-week-old check, the doctor can look to see how the baby is doing. If he already got his 2-week-old check, parents can call the doctor back and describe the situation. There is no such thing as a baby actually sleeping only 5 minutes... thus, something is not right. Normal babies should sleep well after each feeding, and usually sleep for 1.5 to 3 hours after each feeding.
