Unusual behavior: We rely a lot on behavior in pediatrics to determine if there is an illness. If the routine for your infant is change and you are picking up on cues that are worrisome then he deserves a consult with his doctor; worrisome cues include changes in behavior when he wakes, how easy is it to wake him up, other symptoms? 30 oz of a 20 cal / oz formula 24 hrs is adequate.
