My diastolic ranges from 57 to 43. is this too low? my last reading was 108/46 pulse 64. i take 5 mgs lisinporil daily.no symptoms. 76 year old.

A bit low. See DOC.: Your diastolic is a bit below the normal lower limit of 60, which can sometimes be pushed to 55. Pulse seems ok. Lisinopril protects from heart attack, stroke, and effects of diabetes on the kidneys; an excellent drug. You could see your physician about possibly cutting your dose in half. Hope this helps!
