Omega - 3 fish oil.: LDL is not lowered by eating HDL that I am aware of; however a higher HDL will somewhat offset the effects of a high LDL; thus raising HDL is beneficial. A very good source to raise HDL is Omega - 3 fish oil, which is in cold water fish. Omega - 3 fish oil can be purchased as a supplement in most pharmacies and supermarkets. Hope this helps. Have a healthy life!

No: Cholesterol is only HDL or LDL inside your body. Truth is exercise is a lot more helpful than food choices in managing cholesterol, which is mostly genetic anyway.
