A member asked:

Can augmentin cause anxiety symptoms and/or panic attacks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Haven't heard of it: Very stressful events can cause one to start having panic attacks. Examples include being a victim of a crime, witnessing a violent crime, being the victim of child abuse, being bullied at school, or being chased by a dog. Sometimes, mildly stressful events are perceived as very stressful by a person, who then unintentionally over-reacts and may have panic attacks. Augmentin shouldn't cause it.
