A member asked:

Beta 2 glycoprotein was <9, with reference range 0-20 as 99th percentile interval. so if my number is within range, why was it flagged as abnormal??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hematologist: Perhaps the result was flagged because it was positive even though it was a low level. It showed the presence of some autoantibody but it in itself is not diagnostic of the antiphospholipid syndrome. A hematologist is best qualified to answer your question, however.
