I have surgical complications and going to wound care. i grew out serratia liquefaciens and enterococcus faecalis. on clindamycin is this appropriate ?

Time heals!: The physician who ordered the wound culture should know whether or not Clindamycin is the most appropriate antibiotic. Hopefully, this is either the surgeon or an infectious disease specialist. I would give the antibiotic at least a week to show improvement.

Wound infection: If you have a wound culture growing Serratia and enterococcus esp. then Clindamycin may not be the appropriate antibiotic. Please discuss with your doctor.
