Had Perianal abscess drained in colorectal surgeons office on Monday. Today, Wednesday, abscess still feels large and uncomfortable/painful. Also very red. Is this normal? Is it normal for it to still feel like and look like its large?
I have a small bump on the skin near my anus opening, on the outside. It's tender to touch & the skin covering it seems thin. It grew in one day. Might it be a simple bump that will go away on its own, or an abcess that will require draining?
