A member asked:

Doc diagnosed me with concussion (no lost of consciousness). ct scan is normal, but still having headaches. could a subdural hematoma still developed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

CT scans: Generally speaking, CT scans are able to detect subdural hematoma once they reach a certain size, although this is somewhat dependent on the type of CT scan study done, as there are many subtypes of scans and sequences. Extremely small hematomas are not reliably detected.
