I started taking eye drops for pink eye thursday night. the doctor said i can go back to work saturday. whats a good rule of thumb for when i should go back? when the drops noticably work? when i wake up without my eyes crusted?

Things to ponder: Pinkeye is passed through contact with infectious debris. If you touch your face/eye and then touch the environment you can plant germs where someone may acquire them. When they touch their face/eye they can become infected. If your pinkeye is bacterial, one day of antibiotic drops will stop the spread to others. If viral, good hand washing will.
