Yes: Yes, a hydrocoele can be treated by draining the fluid with a needle or by a minor surgical procedure. In order to drain a hydrocele, a needle is inserted into the hydrocoele and than the fluid is removed. This is called aspiration. A surgeon should be consulted regarding proper treatment.
