Consult ENT: If you have a crusty sore, it is likely from an infection which can probably be treated with topical antibiotic. Another condition is from vasomotor rhinitis and sinusitis needs be ruled out. If the discharge is unilateral and you had sustained a head trauma prior , will need to check for CNS fluid leak. It is unlikely an autoimmune problem. See ENT
