A member asked:

Structurally normal heart. postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. when going from supine to standing holter ecg, t waves go flat. why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

T waves: Changing from the supine or sitting position may change the vector direction enough to alter T waves in some EKG leads. Also an increase in heart rate may lower T wave voltage. In any event this type of T wave variation does not have the same significance as ST depression does during a stress test.
