Hello, my daughter ( 22 months) has been sick since sunday. terribly congested and terrible cough. cough hasnt stopped since 4am. please help? leigh

Time for a visit: Several days of progressive coughing to the point it alters her daily activities makes it time to go in and find the cause/treatment. OTC cough meds are basically worthless in small kids and often aggravate the process. If you give her some ice chips to suck on it can sometimes break/reduce the cough cycle temporarily but this needs an evaluation.
