is there a way to get repair brain damage caused by stroke?

Brain injury: caused by stroke is generally thought to be permanent, but some recent literature has suggested that still viable areas of the brain can learn to compensate for the damaged areas and replicate some of the lost functions with time and practice. Hope this helps!
