Hi, a year ago i had a stroke, it took 7 months for me to get back to my job and it's been 5 months and i cannot work. i have speech independent and my brain is not taking anything in, i can't even type an email to my clients, i don't know what to do?

Find a speech therapist ASAP, and start a full rehab program. An occupational therapist may be of additional value. A neurologist can supervise and provide any needed medications. This could take time, but be patient as things can improve.

Agree with the responses but do see a PMR specialist. We are trained in the stroke, post stroke rehabilitation which includes both the therapies mentioned as well as medicines which may improve function. Good luck
