Stroke : Hi, strokes are cause by a loss of oxygen to a part of the brain causing that part of the brain to die. There are 2 types of stroke; ischemic and hemorrhagic. Ischemic is caused by blocking a blood vessel. Hemorrhage is caused by a vessel bleeding. Thus, the blood is diverted away from the brain and it dies. One can have bleeds without stroke, if the brains blood supply is not compromised.
