Probably OK, but...: Yes, this is fine -- but it won't taste very good. If you were told to take 400 mg (two 200 mg doses at once), before you do that. (This is the most common way cefixime is used in adults, for a certain infection.) Or mix with food, e.g. yogurt, ice cream, etc. Or ask doctor or pharmacist about the oral suspension, used mostly in children. If any doubt, discuss with the doctor who prescribed it.
