It should: Without any details, including the condition of the tooth, periodontal issues (your age), if anesthesia was administered in that area, how deep the filling was, and if the tooth is vital, it is really difficult to even guess what the problem might be, over the internet, sight unseen. It is a good idea to have your treating dentist evaluate the inflamed tissue.
