A member asked:

I am interested to know about a device used for home based self-examination for early breast abnormalities detection.name of the device is breastlight?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

LED flashlight torch: Looking at the webpages of Breastlight, it appears to be a type of LED flashlight (torch) that you use to shine through the skin and fatty tissues of your body, such as the breasts. Probably any modern LED flashlight with 600 or so lumens, that many people already have at home, can show you how such lighting would work. Without solid research studies, nobody can tell if such products are accurate.
