Tell mom/doc: This is something I applaud you for doing. At your age you are at very low risk, but you should get used to the self exam. Share your findings with your mom & bring it up at your next doc visit (for any reason). At 16, innocent irregularities are most common but very rarely it could be something worrisome. I have sent a few young ladies for ultrasounds or mammograms & all were be nigh.
