My 18mnth old son has always been a bad sleeper. lately he wakes up screaming. im 29 wks pregnant and this makes things very difficult. is there something i can give him to help him sleep? or could it be night terrors?

Infant son: no sleep: Even an 18 month old child can realize that screaming will bring a parent in response. He may even realize that he will soon have a brother or sister ! Ask your pediatrician for some mild medication for sleep for your son, but not responding to the screaming until he learns not to expect a response may be difficult but will eventually work also.
