"periods":cone bx: A "cone biopsy" removes tissue from the tip of the cervix, after a pap smear has shown suspicious or abnormal cells . This produces a raw surface which can cause heavy bleeding. See the healthcare provider who performed the cone bx, for an exam and treatment.
