Maybe: We know in medicine never to use the terms always and never. Septic shock can certainly kill a person but that person can also survive with treatment. Whether or not any future reproduction is possible will depend on any complications during the initial sepsis, need for removal of the body parts involved, etc. A blanket statement without knowing these factors cannot be made.
