Possibly adhesions: Any type of abdominal surgery can lead to adhesions. Adhesions are bands of fibrous tissue that can be found anywhere in your abdomen and often times cause some type of constriction on your bowels. This would lead to an intermittent pain and discomfort. Suggests a diet high in fiber and water to keep your bowels moving 1 to 3 times a day. Suggest following/general surgeon.
