Insomnia: There are so many ways that you could treat this. My suggestion is to try the most natural way that you can before going on medication. Here are a few suggestions - magnesium oxide 500 mg with melatonin 3-5mg at bedtime. Meditation and also acupuncture works well. There are so many other medications that can help with it so I would try these first. If they don't work then talk with your MD
