What does it indicate if a thyroid ultrasound showed nodules on my lungs? symptoms include crackling sounds when i lay down?

Confusion????: A thyroid ultrasound doesn't show anything on the lungs. Only a chest xray or ct scan shows the lungs. Crackling sounds may come from your throat, or lungs like seen on asthmatics, pneumonia also shows crackling but youusually have fevers and feel really bad and short of breath.
