My baby 22 months gets fever every now and then with no other symptoms.we had her tonsils removed, but fevers still come and go ?

Many forms of : Periodic fever exist . PFAPA is a common one and treated sometimes with tonsillectomy . It can take a while before the fevers stop after tonsils are removed. Cimetidine May help but eventually children with this form outgrow the fever cycles with no long term harm .
