Migraines: Prozac is not used for migraines. If migraines are due to anxiety which is helped by Prozac, then indirectly, yes, then it can help, but not usually used or known to prevent migraines.

Sometimes: It seems that fluoxetine can help prevent migraines in some people, but it can also trigger migraines in others. Unfortunately it is tnot possible to predict which it will do.

Prozac: Antidepressants have been used to prevent migraines, but usually not the prozac type(ssri's). Another reason not to use Prozac type antidepressants is that they may interact with migraine relievers like the triptan family potentially causing dangerous side effects.
