I was prescribed clotrimazole & betamethasone dipropionate for a yeast infection. the patient info w/ cream says dont use in vagina. where is it safe?

Yeast infection ?: The medication for a yeast (fungal) infection is appropriate, but treatment does not usually include a steroid in any form. Ask your provider about the use of betamethasone, but it may be utilized for external vulvar use to decrease inflammation.
