A member asked:

My milk supply is very low. my baby doesn't get enough when i feed her. are there any supplements i can take?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lactogogues: By far the best way to increase your breast milk supply is to have your baby nurse more. That said, some women still can use supplements/medications known as lactogogues. The most common is Fenugreek. You have to take a lot of it to make a difference though. Depending on locality (i.e. not in the USA) you can ask your Dr about Domperidone if you can't nurse and have to pump.
