Not likely to be PE: If you have a CT of your chest that was normal, a significant PE is extremely unlikely. A small PE could be missed on CT but would not cause continued shortness of breath for such a long time unless there were repeated embolisms. If you have asthma, your breathing should improve with a bronchodilator (i.e. albuterol).
