A member asked:

Is vertigo related to an ear issue? i hear clicking in my ear when i swallow

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes & No: Vertigo is commonly caused by a problem with the way balance works in the inner ear, although there are other causes that the ENT Doctor will need to check for in his Differential Diagnosis to determine your specific cause. The clicking you hear may be caused by the Jaw joint in front of the ear (TMJ). So these can be separate unrelated items that your ENT Doctor needs to look at.
