The bilirubin level: may not be a problem if you have a syndrome called Gilbert's syndrome that naturally raises your bilirubin. It is otherwise harmless and does not cause any long term effects. Diarrhea and abdominal cramping are unfortunately "side effects" of an absent gallbladder so you should expect that to happen if you eat oily, fatty or dairy foods. You cannot digest these types of food much from now on.
