Detail Hx & Physical: After cholecystectomy, patients have reported post cholecystectomic syndromes which includes, abdominal symptoms, dyspepsia, and diarrhea. Some patients who underwent cholecystectomy experienced diarrhea, which could be associated with the malabsorption of bile acid Go easy on the fat. Avoid high-fat foods, fried and greasy foods, and fatty sauces and gravies for at least a week after surgery.
