As directed: Usually the vial has the directions for use printed on it. Since the medication says ER meaning extended release it is in your bloodstream at a certain level for 24 hours. Sounds like you may need to have a cardiology consult and or exercise stress test if you are needing to use the medication for exercise. This is a condition where you shouldn't guess. Get an answer and protect your heart.
