Neuropathy: Pins and needles are a type of nerve symptom called neuropathy. It is unrelated to the nitrofurantoin or UTI. There are many different causes of neuropathy. Trauma, arthritis, hand over use. Need to ask you a lot more history and questions, get labs, and exam to figure out why you have neuropathy.
