I am currently taking macrobid for uti. i think i have a yeast infection now. i have on hand fluconazole. im on day 2 of macrobid 1c q 12 hours. is it okay to take fluconazole now. or should i wait until im done with macrobid?

There are no significant drug to drug reactions between macrobid and fluconazole. You should be able to take it now without any concerns. They are tolerated well.

The good thing about macrobid is that it does not lead to yeast infection- and not within 48hrs of taking it. Your self diagnosis of yeast infection might be incorrect. If you do have it you can take it as it has no contraindication about taking it with Macrobid. I hope you feel better
