A member asked:

My daughter was recently diagnosed with adhd i would like to know if vitamins would affect her medication? and if not what would be recommended to aid

Not particularly: It is unlikely to either effect the medications or the condition. Unless there are nutritional deficiencies leading to a vitamin deficiency, vitamin supplements are waste. Like many chronic conditions with difficult management you will find a multitude of treatment suggestions on the net that have little value. Identifying learning problems, meds and talk therapy are the basic approach.

Somewhat : Large doses of vitamin C could affect absorption of some amphetamines if taken within an hour of adderall and adderall xr
