I've seen red#40 used in many prenatal vitamins. why put a possible cancer causing/adhd/carcinogen in them? is there a brand you recommend?

This is a problem: You may want to go to your health food stores and ask for vegan or organic brands, as this will insure that you not get any food dye or processed chemical formulation for prenatal vitamins. Great brands do exist and you will find them at the good health food stores. (We can't recommend brands). The people working in these stores are well informed, and can help you.
