The abnormalities: you mention are affected by the amount of liquid you are consuming....if you drank a lot of liquid during the 2 hours.....just a thought.....that may explain the discrepency Hope this is helpful! Dr Z

Confirmed: Guess I would like to know what "confirmed" means for starters. If this means culture or a urine dip?

?? clean UA specimen: Often a diagnosis of a UTI will be made if a UA reveals leuks, blood, nitrites. If the urine is collected by urinating into a cup, then vaginal secretions often contaminate the urine. Also, bacteria multiply every 15-20 minutes, so after accumulating all night, bacteria multiply enough to be considered pos. A true UTI is confirmed with a culture and should have some symptoms and abnormal UA
