Hard to say: Most don't know what bug bites them unless caught in the act. The body may not respond much if the bug did not inject any material. If it did there may be a small primary mound. If the site becomes swollen, red & hard, the body is leaking serum to dilute any injected material. If this doesn't fade quickly I like to evaluate the bite for signs of infection.
