A member asked:

My gynaecologist & i have discussed removing both tubes for sterilisation but he said no procedure can 100% guarantee against pregnancy, confusing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pregnancy ?: At age 47, there is justification in evidence based literature to remove both tubes to prevent certain cancers, but at age 47, the chance of pregnancy even without removing the tubes is almost zero.
