Post nasal drip: Absolutely. Your stomach does not recognize mucus from food. All it knows is that there is something in there and will cause acid to be produced in order to try and digest it. This acid over time can lead to irritation of the stomach lining that can cause someone to feel nauseated. I would clear it with her doctor as she is taking other medications and if that does not work she should see GI
