Nausea: Some medical providers recommend benadryl to treat nausea, I recommend another nonprescription medication, dramamine. Ginger or flat room temperature ginger ale can also relieve nausea.

Nausea: Benadryl will only help nausea if caused by motion sickness and it can cause also nausea and vomiting as a side effect. Nausea is otherwise treated based on the possible cause for it as there are many classes of drugs with anti nausea potential. Ultimately, finding and addressing the cause for nausea remains the goal and diagnostic workup is recommended.
