Will amoxcillin help if u have sinusitis? like stuffy nose, nausea, tired, hot, cough up stuff, loss of appetite a little, drainage? some drs say no.

Sinusitis: Sometimes, although not usually, antibiotics may be necessary in helping to resolve sinusitis. This has to be assessed on an individual basis and if there is any real question would recommend seeing a good ENT doctor and get a face to face evaluation. Hope this clears up soon.

Will not help: Almost all Sinusitis caused by a virus. Antibiotics do not help this. You can have symptomatic relief with Afrin or another nasal spray.
